I got my Glymm box last week and if you’ve been keeping up with my blog, you know that I have been crazy busy and had no time to update this week. So, I am now going to introduce you to my @GlymmGirl box for the month of October.
First item, of course, are the Jelly Belly jelly beans. This month’s jelly beans are naturally black and orange for Halloween.
The second item was a sample of Caudalie Premier Cru Cream. Premier Cru is an exclusive combination of the rarest, most precious and most effective natural active ingredients for an extraordinary global anti-ageing action. Throughout the day, your skin is regenerated and redensified, wrinkles are filled, the look of your skin is renewed and your complexion is even-toned. Smoother, firmer and more luminous, your skin looks visibly younger. I was given a 2ml sample. The 50ml full sized product cost $150.
The third item in my Glymm Box was a Lise Watier Lip Kiss Crayon Gloss in Rouge Flamenco.
The crayon was a full-sized product at 2.8 grams. It retails for $18. You can buy it here.
I am a fan of red lips so I am pleased that my crayon came in Rouge Flamenco. I noticed some other girls got their crayon in Melon Twist. Most of them seemed satisfied with that colour. It looked quite nice.
I put the crayon on to test it out and see how it is. I must say that I am very pleased with it. It goes on nice and smooth and provides a glossy look without the stickiness. Nicely done, @LiseWatier, nicely done! I love it and definitely recommend this product if you’re looking for a nice gloss.
The next product in my Glymm box was a Bacio Me Lip Balm Tube by Principessa Beauty.
Bacio Me is uber moisturizing, non sticky or greasy, with a light delicious fragrance and no taste. Every imaginable lip-treat like shea butter, and vitamin E is packed into this pout-perfecting indulgence leaving your lips indescribably silky and kissably soft. It’s like a spa treatment for your lips! Available in both slant-tip tube and tin.
I received the lip balm tube in the full size of 14 grams. It retails for $11. I suppose that’s a little bit expensive for a tube of lip balm but I promise you that it is worth every penny!
I love this product. I already carry it in my purse and use it on a daily basis. It’s my go-to lip balm for now. It works magic, too. It leaves my lips super soft.
As for the full size @VasantiCosemtics deep pink silky eyeshadow in Toyko, I am absolutely obsessed!
This deep pink with soft 2-toned gold shimmer also doubles as a blush. It applies smoothly, it is crease resistant, highly pigmented and long wearing. The colour you see is the colour you get! And it doesn’t hurt that it comes in a super cute packaging.
This eyeshadow is formulated without mineral oil, petrolatum, sulfates and GMO’s. I’m not sure what any of that stuff is but I am sure that I do not want it in my makeup!
As mentioned above, I received the full size which retails for $15.
You can buy the product here.
I am so pleased with everything that I received in my Glymm box. Was it worth the $10. Considering I received more than $40 in full sized products, it is absolutely worth it. I can’t wait to receive November’s Glymm box! @ElaSzczepan, @mekli and @gillespiee will be getting their first Glymm boxes. We’re all so excited!

I have so, so much to update about.
Thursday, @ElaSzczepan and I went to the @UGGAustralia event thrown by @lotusleafstyle in Toronto.
Friday and Saturday were crazy days at work. Head office has some intimidating (but nice) guys!
Sunday I saw the Ides of March. Interesting.
But for now, I have to write a paper on the following: Provide and explain an example of an environmental change (a single event or a more drawn-out process) sometime during the past fifty years that has brought about increasing interconnectedness among different parts of the world. Which parts of the world have benefitted the most, if any, and which have benefitted the least from this change? What are some explanations for these differences?
It’s due at 7pm so I have about 3 hours to work on it before I have to go to class.
I still haven’t received my @GlymmGirl box. Sad, sad day.
Anyways, talk soon! I’ll perhaps update tonight. I was up at 5am for work but we’ll see how tired I am when I return from school.
