An Evening With Brad Goreski
Last night, @ChrisSikora and I ventured to Toronto to attend Born to be Brad: An Evening With Brad Goreski and model h_marks.
We have a super fun time. @MrBradGoreski was super nice. He talked to everyone. Took pictures and personalized every book. I’ve been to multiple book signings and it is usually a quick signature and one picture. I was pleasantly surprised as to how relaxed the whole environment was.

After the signing, there was a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres party. Flowing white wine and cookies shaped as bow ties and thick-rimmed glasses. It was perfect.
We mingled, had our photos taken by photographers and filled up on wine and sugar. And, just before we left, I noticed last summer’s hungry tiger working the crowd. A double take and a drop of the jaw later, Chris and I decided that we wouldn’t go @ParisHilton on the tiger this time. Perhaps next time.

Maxim Canada’s Bad Teacher After Party
So, I wasn’t lucky enough to get passes to an advanced screening of Bad Teacher but I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the after party at Cheval nightclub in Toronto thrown by @MaximCanada.
I went with my sister, @ElaSzczepan, and her friend, Miranda. It was our first time at Cheval and I loved it. I’m not much for the clubbing scene so it was nice to be at a nightclub that was kind of more relaxed.
The music was good, the food was good and the drinks, as alcohol usually is, were good.
The only unfortunate part was that, in our buzzed state of mind, we had a mini photo shoot with the photographer and none of our photos were posted. This could be in our favour because we probably looked like extremely hungry tigers but I think I would have liked to seen the photos and regretted them than not have seen them at all!
To make up for it though, we got some swag. Bad Teacher shirts, posters, beer cosies, and Maxim Magazines.
